LĪHU'E Feast

A “FEAST” is a community and crowd-funding dinner that supports public art, placemaking and other community-driven projects, as well as the individuals and organizations who led the projects. At these events, attendees pay to join a catered reception, and a portion of that payment is set aside as a prize. While attendees eat, mingle, various presenters showcase their work and explain their project.  After the presenters are finished, attendees vote on which project they wish to award the prize to. At this FEAST event, attendees will learn about and support community-led forestry, farming and placemaking projects happening in Līhuʻe.
